Our braided leash extender is an essential tool to safely tether your raptor when to keep the jesses and leash from getting tangled when using a swivel to connect your jesses and leash. The braided leash extender is made of 100% dacron which is both strong and durable, designed to withstand the rigors of falconry, typically they are between 4-6″ depending on the type of bird you are tethering.
The diameter of our jess extenders are as follows;
- Micro extenders are ~0.1″ (2.5 mm)
- Hawk\Falcon extenders are ~0.2″ (4.5 mm)
- Heavy\Eagle extenders are ~0.3″ (7.5 mm)
